Hi, thought i'd add a pic of my Fiat Panda Van, its a genuine fiat conversion, used by italian postal and gas board. As far as I know its the only one of its type in the uk as the conversion never came to the UK. Its also lowered, with alloys, metalflake steering wheel, cheeky sound system. I'm building a bigger engine for it at the moment, its only 1242cc, but already match ported, I want to get it all balanced, with a decent cam and a big slurpy carb on top ! The car is my daily driver, I also own a '72 Fiat 500 (which is another story) and a '59 ford pop hot rod (which got drowned in the floods last year, and in the process of a lengthy rebuild ! Hope you like my car anyway Overn'out.

Welcome! Now that's a tasty selection of motors! Start a thread for the others - need specs! (still 500 engine or 126?)
That Panda van is ace.

Hello all, firstly hello briandamaged - long time no see ! And yes the cars were at CROWN meadow last weekend, which inspired me to join the forum! Abit of info on the other cars, the 500 is 595cc, which i'm hoping to slowly tune with abarth bits, the car is already lowered with uprated shocks, has an abarth alloy finned sump and a bigger than standard carb, its in need of a respray which I'm hoping will happen over next winter. As for the pop, its a bit of a sorry story, it had 3.9 rover V8 with a shot of nitrous, and had run in to the 13's on the strip, (not too bad for a shopping car ) Unfortunately we were on holiday when the floods hit last year and it just happens that our garage is on a flood plane :-( The pop was in the garage and spent two days over its roof in the water. When the water subsided, the only salvageable bit is the shell and chassiss, so i'm collecting bits as we speak, next time it will be bigger and better , hopefully a 10 second shopping car !! This is a pic after the flood.
