Here's my car It's the 3rd Mk1 I have had, although it's been about 10 years since my last one It's not pink like it looks on the 2nd photo, just a bad photo It's been fine, apart from a bloody water leak that I can't pin down, so no carpets in the front for the moment!

Neat Golf! I like that first pic - really stormy and moody! What wheels are they? Look good

Cheers
Compomotive ML 1580. The guy I bought the car from has had the centres painted black with mirror polished rims, although he managed to kerb 3 of em!
Just trying to find somewhere that does diamond cutting and I will get them cleaned up

Not sure Need to remedy the water leak first! The suspension is a bit tired so I was thinking of getting some Bilstain OE shocks and Eibach springs which should keep it at the same height it is now, and not be too harsh a ride as the roads round here are pretty bad! I would like to get a set of green tinted glass and the opening quarter lights in the doors. I also thought about trying to get hold of some happich opening rear windows, although they're like hen's teeth and well expensive A pert of me also wants to go chrome with the small chrome bumpers, flag mirrors, and chrome side trim, but I also think black and red looks nice. Chrome looks nicer on older Golfs with the small back lights depends if I ever have any spare cash burning a hole in my pocket

Bought the Bilstein shocks and Eibach springs today, also some top mounts from VW, so just waiting for a break in the weather and I will have a go at putting these on Will post a pic to show ride height

That's hot. Didn't they only start galvanising at Mk2 time?
