Now this might seem a bit odd on here and i accept i am inviting ridicule ( ) but there ya go. I was given this for my daughter last weekend, done a bit of detective work and its Lundby Stockholm, this particular one was made between 1979 and 1984 (i'm reasonably sure) its in reasonble nick has its original wallpaper and carpets, its been in a barn for donkeys so needs a good clean and some bits fixing up, has loads of furniture I'm gonna sort out which bits are of a similar age and do a bit of restoration it all, has electric lighting in it as well, its pretty big, see the size of me mug of tea on the ground floor. Anyone know any usefull websites about this sort of thing?

I really like dolls houses, I'd love to build one sometime, but it'll be a proper modernist white cube.

Awesome, yeah a bit ghey i know, but my sis had an old Sindy (or Barbie ) house It was ace over a metre tall IIRC working cooker shower the lot! no I didn't play with it,, much you tell me the difference between making one of these and Spacial design job, cos thats what me mate does, the latter, plus with the right scale model cars, theres some macroish photo opportunies! certain some creative licence potential in one of these, anyway I'm off to buy Sunday Sport to redeem myself and squeeze out more chest hairs!

it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts

Top grammar tips! Bought = purchased. Brought = relocated Lose = misplace/opposite of win. Loose = your mum

no mods, just cleaned it, tempted to change it a bit, but its probably better to leave it as, hopefully my daughter wont destroy it, and what with her only being 6 it could have a long play life in it, and maybe be worth a few quid if she wants to get rid of it when she's older.

These are worth a fair bit when looked after - there's a specialist here in town that sells absolutely everything for these and it costs a bloody fortune! The GF likes 'em - but she'd probably break it quicker than your 6yo I'll see if they have a web-site you can gander at...... need to visit the place though, that ain't so good alone
