I painted the plastic grill insert yesterday, i think it looks much cooler, and a bit 'arder too. Next job will be the grey plastics inside the headlights. Also mocked up the 635csi oil cooler i've had for a while. Got a straight connector to go on the left hand end comming with some pipe. Not sure where to route it yet, will just be to the left hand end of the under bumper grill for now, but i might drill two holes under the left hand headlight, or perhaps even source a US spec headligh so that i can remove the driving lamp and run the pipes through there. Next stop, chin spoiler, and possible a small duck tail style boot spoiler too. And some racyer wheels, And some body work, and......

Nice work! Grille always looks good given a lick of paint. I like the oil cooler too - does the M102 engine have anywhere to plumb in the cooler, or will you need a sandwich plate? I need to get a sandwich plate for mine when I get to that point.

I might not get round to plumbing the cooler. The threads for the unions are also pretty stripped, so i wouldn't trust them with any pressure any way, so would need to source another cooler.

bigperm are the banded's 14"s or 15"s could be very interestered in them, and do they have anything to do with Matt Jones? Just been looking at some amg stuff, i'm not so keen on the style of the amg spoiler, i'm more after a golf Mk1ish/j-style type thing but thanks for the offer.
