Interesting thought, and I have been having similar of late. I have a C15 as a farm hack / chicken delivery thing, but I'm running it daily now as it sips diesel and the (now ex) daily with a V6 drinks petrol at a scary rate on the journeys I do. Its a bit bland though. Everyone and their dog has a C15 here and I fancy making mine stand out a little bit. A wheel change is easily do-able. I don't fancy slammage as I need the load capacity sadly, then something done to the paint job to be a little different. I have no real ideas though as I havent really thought it through. The engine bay is the predecessor of the pug 205, so pretty much anything you can do to a 205 can be done to a C15. MI16 conversion for high-speed deliveries? Here in France they sell a 4x4 version, but I have no idea what gearbox it runs. an MI16 4x4 on gti front struts and fettled rear suspension would be an awesome sleeper. Illegal here though sadly

You could swap the whole front end for 205 or 309 bits. Mi16 engine would be right at home there too. I think they're on leaves at the back though so that might have to be a bit of a compromise.

there was one of those dumped in my next door but one neighbour's back garden for the last 2 years you could probably have had for free.
I think they could work well with the treatment and a healthy TDI lump

I'd have thought they were on torsion bars at the back, same as most modern peugeot/citroen stuff. I cant find a picture of it right now, but PTS developments built a fairly quick C15, looking at their website, it notes the car as having a turbo and intercooler fitted, but I assume it was a diesel. www.ptsdevelopments.com/

Actually thinking of it, the rear set up is radius arms the same as a bx only with coilovers instead of hydraulic units.

Great little tools these....my mate had one, scary handling though when you've got eleven people in it (three in front, eight out back)....

They're a real hodge podge those vans. Engine bay is Peugeot 104 with mods, engines and front suspension and hubs etc are 205, rear suspension is 104 trailing arms and struts with 205 hubs, so fully independant, unlike the 205.
Plenty of choice for wheels. I'd imagine some standard 205 GTi rimmage would suit.

production ended in 2005! I 've often wondered about these along with the renualt extra. Loads of potential for a cool retro sleeper edit: just found this, its not a C15 but an renault extra, same sort of thing 80's hatch with a box stuck on the back

My dad used these for years until he retired last week (or week before..) I spent many an hour being bounced around in the rear! They definatly have retro potential but I think the rear arches have clearance issues for any mega wide wheels. They also feel flimsy and are very noisy and tinny to drive, many of my dads old c15s died of random major suspension or engine faults. Classic in the making then!

There is one with a TD lump and full hydraulic suspension (that'll be Citroen juice rather than the lowrider kind).

The blue one thats in one of your pictures that low with a DS behind it.
Seen that car about, cant remember what its running but its on BX hydraulic suspension and had either a TD lump or BX Gti lump, i cant remember.
The front Clip from a visa GTI or Diesel will bolt straight in. I have seen one with the 16v 170hp lump.
I liked my visa cars and have always fancied a van version.
