.....any advice?
I'm thinking of just trimming mine down and then panel beating them back. they're currently at 1960's width and will look much better/lightweight once done. Like most things I do, this is on a budget of virtually nowt, so any help or advice would be appreciated.

there are plenty of companies that will do it for you, but personally I did it by tapping back the arches using a hammer and dolly then flattened them completely using a mini vice with a thick cloth on the jaws to protect the paintwork this seemed to do a good job... not sure if its the right way but its how i did it...

Many years ago I changed my driving style to cope with rising fuel prices; I have now reached the stage where I am contemplating keeping my eyes shut in order to lower wind resistance.
