thought i'd post some pics of the other car I'm working on. is it retro? its slow, cheap and no body wants one so i'd say so i payed 250 for it, payed another 50 quid for an interior and 80 for an engine that didnt smoke like the original when it werent cold.. i've also replaced the front and back bumper and a new rear hatch as it was rotten through. i brought it in the dark and didnt realise quite how bad it was. i thought about just gettin rid of it quick to get my money back but instead am using it as a sort of practice car. doing my first engine replacement, cam belt swap clutch swap and my first full respray. going for a wheeler dealers style theme like the t.v. show. return a wreck back to a nice original car, sell it and make a loss lol.
car when i bought it:
car stripped and all dents and rust removed. there was lots...
engine now removed...
Car masked up for primer, cant believe how long it took to mask the car, should get it done quicker next time now i no what I'm doing
car with primer and guide coat on.
Didn't really need to prime the whole car, i could have just spot primed the bad bits but wanted to have a bit of practice painting everything.
