this is my summer bike, £15 tax, close to 100 mpg and it cost me £9 last time I insured it, the insurer asked me if I wanted to pay monthly ;D serious pumped the back tyre up, added petrol, covered it in wd40 pulled the choke out and it fired straight away got to work as it is now to do list: new back tyre new front hub and speedo cable (if anyone has one pm me please) hammerite red the wheels, spokes and hubs lepord skin print seat cover. white walls question. where can you get white tyre paint from, how much is it, is it any good ? handle bars ? big ape hangers, drop downs - cafe racer styles or flat bar it - streetfight style ? HELP PhOtOsHoP anyone ?

Great project, can't wait to see the finished article! I have an RXS100 and it's great fun. ;D Give me a shout when you've got your new seat cover sorted, I could do with the old one!

I quit my CBT. Got hassled in traffic. Was so annoyed. Was long walk to pub to calm down. I had got a chinese CG125. Was a good looking bike. Just sold it last month. But those bikes are supposed to be dear to insure as only one or 2 companies do them. Have to go up for my training again. Get an old J bike. As thats real cheap insurance. Hey people put YB engines in FS1Es Maybe make a YB look like a Fizzy

sod the yb, get a rebore out to rxs115 size or find an rxs 135 (it's bored and stroked) or find a dt175 (NOT an it175) and bolt the complete head from that on, 17bhp and a shed load of third gear wheelies.
I still have my rxs, it's buried in the back garden, I dig it out and scrap off the slime every time my cbr6 breaks, amazing really since iv'e crashed it 17 times at last count..
oh and you will need front brakes, suzuki rg80 16" front end will bolt on but it won't handle to well (front tucks to soon) best idea is to find an rxs135 front end (good luck!) most likely solution is to get a suzuki gn125 front end (or a gs125) grind/hacksaw off 2-3mm from the bottom of your headstock bit of messing about with the rxs/gs bearings and bobs your monkeys uncle you still won't have much in the way of brakes, more importantly, no fade.
Cafe racer ftw just being tucked out of the wind will gain you 10mph. not joke or exaggeration there.

I was about to say 'needs whitewalls' but you are. Good looking little project. I've been on the lookout for a cheap/tatty honda rebel 125 to do the similar too but the prices are up with the good weather I quite like the look of this one
