Vauxhall Ventora or Victor FE saloon (Wanted) Must not be a rust bucket.I would more prefer a Roadworthy going restoration tax exempt would be an advantage. Pics would be helpful.. Thanks in advance

Hi mate, my uncle has a Vent which has sat under a sheet on his farm for a couple of years - Last on the road around 2002 I think and would definately be a mild resto job. Not sure if he wants to get rid of it or not but a can certainly ask for you. Its an early 70s, 3.0? manual 6 pot I think. You can just about see it in the background on this photo:

thats a straight six 3 litre ventora , can tell by grill and headlights also wing badge a giveaway

Hi sorry i'm in Scotland.I though i'd put that in my profile.ah well.. But yeah i've managed to track down a 1800 slant 4 a bit closer to home.so i'll no doubt check that one out. but if your in scotland then i might take a look at that one pictured there before i make any purchase.. There ya go! I thought so! Are they any good? I don't know alot about old Vauxhalls but I always liked the look of this one the engine was used in ambulances because of the torque and they not high reving like the slant four , rare especialy in that condition crying out for big v8 and tubbed back end and sod fuel prices lol
