	Help Had a little in car fire at the weekend and now need a full wiring loom, (with connectors still attached if poss as i'm pants at soldering), the green controller box which is behind the dashboard and under-bonnet fuse box Car is a 1984 ford escort XR3 but i'm told XR3i and some escorts of same era are the same. Also any information on other models which are same so I can widen my search will be greatly appreciated.

	hi mate left you a reply on the cab club site (don't know if you read it ?) if you cant find an XR3 loom the next best one will be out of a mk3 escort ghia as its the same just with an extra loom for the rear doors (its got all the same sensors under the bonnet so your idiot light work on the dash ) the orion ghia (as long as its carb fed) will do but you need to change the rear light plugs & the loom is a bit longer the injection loom will fit but you need to cut it about to fit it as its longer to some parts & shorter to others & has different bits & more wiring that you don't need

	Thanks the reply, much appreciated, i've sourced a loom now from an orion but am struggling with the green box, I think they'll be a bit harder to come by. Do you know if their the same on the ghia's also?
