just joined this forum, been reading through a few threads and u guys seem also more helpful and friendly than the grumpy old men u find on theminiforum!
is my car classed as retro or not? as its 1996 and injection? used to own a mk2 uno which was regarded at retro
anyway, bought this in november 2007 as a 110% genuine 1996 rover mini 1.3i with 35,000 on the clock and the original dealer sticker in the back window ;D
since purchasing it have been slowly working through the (very) minor rust in order to turn it into a completely concourse mini.
unfortunatly the small project has been put on hold as it broke down last month cleaning out my wallet (differencial blew up so needed engine rebuild)
also cant stop thinking about a nice set of black 10" revolutions, high-low suspension, group B arches and taking off the sprite logos.
any ideas? not sure wheather to keep it stock or not? I'm planning on keeping this for a long time!
