Sorted the inside of the house over the last couple of years, so this weekend moved onto the outside.
The Before - weed infested slabbed plain-ness:
Take some wood - 70 planks, 40 joists, 2000+ screws, 7 bags of postcrete:
End of Friday evening, did a couple of hours once I got home from work, one frame done.
End of Saturday, was assisted by a mate so finished the framing and starting decking:
Sunday had to help the mate finish his kitchen, then did a couple of hours before going out:
Sunday morning I finished off, still the edging to do and the banister thingy, plus the hammock hooks to add but pretty much there.
Shattered by Sunday night. Lower deck is 4.2 by 3m, upper is 4.2 by 3m and 2.1 by 3.4. Proud of the difference it's made, now insisting all meals are eaten outside, no matter what the temperature!
