Don't take this the wrong way but, despite the fact that there's hundreds of modded Mk1s, yours has a certain frisson. Really nice car

an almost pleasurable sensation of fright; "a frisson of surprise shot through him" Awesome I love that, Cheers for your comments peep's, really appreciate it This Weekend Ive sorted some wiring, but also fitted a hidden fog light  It Hide's behind the rear valance until it is need, then simply folds down. I Have also tinted a set of crystal clear lights red, they will be getting G3 Compunded by my mate soon I hope, then on the car with slight modification as they don't quite sit right. Next Its fitting the splitter and bits and bats and then painting the G60 PEACE I enjoy words looking' forward to seeing how this develops. |

Really nice car Spot on,.. its like I've always said, it is much harder to make a stand out car (or one with frisson (consider that phrase stolen! )) in a scene where there are very distinctive styles that have been deeply explored a lot before. This is great |

That is something special......... nice job. I've never really 'got' Mk1 golfs' but that really is a nice ride, simple yet outstanding. GOod work fella ;D

Cheers Peep's, i know mate don't worry, i was too excited to stick my rims on, i kinda put them on the wrong sides haha   ;D But They will be rotated, I'm sticking them on my vento for All Type's at the weekend, rolling the arches on the vento just to fit em lol. |

Bought It for a bargain price, it was slightly chavved up when i bought it, i.e. debadged grille, fox racing wheels and the worst plates ive ever seen. You Can see these in the pics. But 8 hours after owning the car (woke up in the morning after buying) i got some proper plates.   Ive Managed to source and early grille, poor quality wobbly children's play pony Poo!! and I'm looking at some 16 x 7.5 + 9" schmidt's. Ive Got some headlights split ready for tinting and i plan on smoothing both bumper's. But For the All Types will be running 15 x 8 + 8.5" BBS RM's, heres a photoshop of the end goal  shall i start another thread? |

Hers a Lil update for yall, the vento is now looking like this, whacked the rms on it, dropped it more and did some tinting all round, it tookk me to club charys belguim show there and back no worries  Also Sorted loads of problems out on the mk1 yesterday and i have now decided to run the gti engine for a bit as I'm missing my car really bad, so painted nearly every engine component matt black with some polished goodness. After a New fuel pump and added a top fill radiator the car runs very sweet indeed, she'll be ready or at a shwo near you soon. Ill Post some pictures laters WORD |

Right Its been a while now since ive posted any pictures up, but here’s some I took last night, I give her a quick blast up and down my street to keep her running sweet and check the new top fill radiator and fan worked ok and they did.     I Put the RM’s back on and now only have daft little jobs before I put her in for the mot on Friday. If it doesn’t Pass then at least I have a list to follow to get her done. You Can see the all red tinted rear lights now, but ones full of water  another problem, also the sunroof is drippin but ill sort it. So Now daft bits and bobs for the MOT enjoy the pics J |

Loving both your cars. Your Mk1 in particular is stand-out but I've got to admit to a soft-spot for Vento's. In fact, I'm quite fond of the unloved Mk3 era, it's time will come! Oddly enough, my VR6 had dodgy plates on it when I got it. Know what you mean about getting them changed quickly, amazing what a difference they can make. I used it as an excuse to put 'scene' german plates on it at the time but it ended up looking even better when I put some 'legit' ones made up by the local Pug dealer on it! |

Cheers Peep’s, shes coming on leaps and bounds now. I'm Getting chuffed but I don’t have my hopes up for the MOT as they always fail on daft little bits. Yeah The ventos pimp, I'm thinking off selling/swapping for a mk1 caddy though. Fancy A little bit of a change? Might Be possible mate, but not sure ive ever been there in it. Do You know when it was?? Ive Had the car 2 years in January. Cheers for the nice comment. Also as of last night me, my dad and mate, have a fitted and working horn, number lates lights having to make a new bit of loom, fitted all door handles (interior and trim), re-fitted the rear lights correctly so they don’t leak and fitted all my chromey bits (door locks, boot lock and striker plate) |

thats a beaut of a car, looks just right with all the right ingredients too. Liking the factory black porsche handles, makes a change from polished i guess ( what I'm using ). Cant wait to see it all finished. well done
