Looking every bit as good as I hoped it would! Love the profile of the rear quarters, beautiful! Nice work on the front end too, really coming together now!

No-one has asked me, yet..... I'm concentrating on actually getting it to RRG08 first. So, today... Front panel off, for finishing. and so I can finish off and paint the bulkhead. Welding finished, prep and paint this evening. More pics later. busy busy, less than a week to go!

It will be traveling down on the recovery truck (3 people, needing 3 seats ) But I would like it to be road legal when it goes. Painted the body again today.. But first, I trimmed the foam for the seating, and brought it home for Mrs S to work miracles on ;D

OK, today's dayshift (in between jobs) Front panel, almost ready to go back on (well it is now, that pic is earlier and ... shock horror, arches! (bolt on ones) bolted into arch... turn an edge so no nasty sharp bits wanna know why its yellow underneath? My grandfather "aquired" this sign when the factory he worked in closed down. I've had it since I was 10, never knew why....I do now! I found it in the shed while looking for some plastic to make the arches out of Its teatime, then back for a late shift.

depends how I feel about them once it is tested, really. I liked the car without them, but strangely I also quite like the arches, they turned out surprisingly well and once again are made from recycled junk, so I dunno It's one less reason for me getting pulled in for a "chat" by the authorities I suppose! You are all welcome to tell me what you think tho

awsome progress as usuall, you make me feel like the laziest soab in country....
Personally I'd leave the arches off after the ticket, it make the lines a lot cleaner..
