The maxi gearbox fitted to my allegro causes the speedo to overread by approx 40%. I'm sure ive heard of companies that will make and fit a miniature gearbox to speedo cable to adjust the revolutions of the cable up or down to compensate. Does anyone here know of any companies that do this stuff?

Quick turnaround when they did mine,my autometer speedo couldn't be re calibrated so ended up with the little gearbox thingy, about the size of a pack of fags and spot on !
Checked against a sat nav and its less than 2 mph out all the way up to naughty speeds.
Just be as accurate as possible when doing the counting checks.

Box and two cables (one from gearbox to adaptor then one to speedo) was about £50 , 3 years ago mind!
