Found it in a ditch, I had no choice really...

Riding to town the other day on my bike, I spied something rather large and shiny in the grass verge. A chrome (or at least chrome look) truck hubcap. Naturally I wanted it. Random shiny car part I have no real use for whatsoever? How could I resist?. Not being able to carry it whilst riding, I stopped on my way to work the next morning (in the rain no less) and ran down the road to get it, looking like a total tool probably.

My thoughts then turned to "What can I do with it? I know, its big and round, I'll make a clock". Took it to work today, drilled a hole, cut up a tesco value clock and viola!:



Complete with pictures of cars and a subway ring. Its a bit loud though, the large, tinny nature of the thing does a good job of amplifying the ticking. Might hang my subway ring from it as well since it kind of looks out of place on a german car.
