Just more pictures that indicate how much I could do with loosing at least another half coil on the rear. But for the sake of the tyres, and the ability to carry anything, it will be staying where it is for now.

I've noticed it's a good year for cherry blossom, you j-tin owners must be loving the photo ops! Yet to get Dad's Lexus under a cherry tree properly, not that it'd fit.

Cars looking great, but definately closer to the tarmac would make it perfect

I love these, they have the "hooligan" look about them straight from the factory!

Thanks gents.
I think Rmad, that you might have been reading way too much badly translated Japanese. ;D
I got a drilled three spoke steering wheel on yesterday, its also now got a euro ns tail light to delete the reverse and clean up the rear a bit.
I'm going to have to give the horizontal wiper mod a try, I think the wiper should stay on this one. Unless anybody has a rear wiper arm from a 300zx.

New steering wheel, well old actually, its an old mini specific wheel modded to fit. It has had the splined section removed and the centre hole then enlarged so that it can be welded to a cut down mountney m-range boss. I cut down the boss so that the wheel didn't come too far forwards. I'ts now nice and dishy, but the rim is the same distance back from the stalks as stock. No horn atm but I think i'll just put a push switch on the dash (mounted on the cover where the immobiliser LED is) for it. The centre was vacuum formed to fit, using a couple of round storage tups to make the former. I wish I hadn't done such a half arsed job of rubbing down the spokes now. I'll sort that when I get the center cover attatched properly. Got these on their way too. Rmads pics from Wheels Day

Today I revisited an idea I had right back at the begining of my time modding the LX..... I think I like, but I'll have to find some nuts the same size as the stockers to fit them properly on the front.

Yes! Liking that a lot Mark, just spent a while getting back up to speed with this; I feel something stupid, plastic and French has given me a renewed passion for small Japanese motors!

^^^ add me to the above, big time like!
they remind me a little of rallye steels of a camaro or something, with a little J/stretch/width madness thrown in... Make it so!

The caps really help emphasis the depth of the alloys, so I'd say they win.
