First Picture as it arrived. Now sporting Gti Headlights, side repeaters, Gti front indicators, lay flat wipers, VR6 Chin spoiler and Gti seats and door cards should be with me monday. As it is today.

Nice, nearly bought one of these - the trim rings you can get for them wheels can make them actually look quite acceptable... ;D

Golf Estates are funny looking I was trying to get a Audi 80 or Passat estate but they either came up at too much money or very silly high milage for the money I had. But this came up just 10 miles away . At just £740 I could not turn down a Diesel estate golf and its not even a Turbo! Might look into a Turbo swap in the future, engine is good at the moment though its only got 134000 on the clock.

I'd keep it Non-Turbo - Its never going to be truely quick, and the silly high MPG figure will more than offset it being a bit slow
I wish i'd gone for an N/A diesel over a turbo one now

Cheers Martin might just do that. And my wife is getting grief from the local lads of Eastbourne , Those little boy racers keep flying up behind her and overtaking her she said those manovoers were not endorsed by highway code, but I reckon its her own fault for not driving a serion (my wife has a 5 door (family car) 2.0 16v mk3 Golf Gti 150 bhp)!!!!!!!

Should be fine on that mega-uncomplicated n/a diesel lump, but Tesco vegetable oil is over a £1 a litre these days, hardly worth getting... Make your own biodiesel.

I never let it get that dirty tell him to wash it straight away. Marcus. That'll be epic roadtrips that get it putting the GT into GTi, mud is just part of that fact, drive it, use it properly, get it filthy, clean it, start over again.........
