Hi all
Found this beauty (it's all in the eye of the beholder) a few weeks ago after putting a want on a facebook group of all places. Turned out the car was owned by Adam who lived 5 mins away from me...small world.
The majority of the welding has been done but unfortunately it's been sat in primer under a holey tarp for the winter.
We moved the car last Tuesday with the help of a Ford F-150 pickup so at least it's in the dry now. Although it's driveable we thought it best to stick it on the trailer. With the windscreen travelling separately we had nowhere to stick the tax disk!
Anyhow this is the state of the car at the moment, it's being stored in Adams dads barn until we can get the engine out and ship it off to the paint shop which should be 2-3 weeks time.
Then it's back to the bare metal and a full respray whilst I rebuild the garage at home. Wanted to have the garage built before I took on a project but it was too good a chance to pass up. Needs must and all that...
Will keep you posted with progress but in the meantime does anybody know how to get the ignition switch out of the dash?
