I've decide i must rake my bike out in the vain hope the weather is actually getting better. Was rebuild and painted up a few years back, used briefly and laid up since. Plans are to get it all up and running sweet and i have a sports can to fabricate on to it. Also need to get the wheels powder coated as i didn't get round to it during the rebuild. only pic i have of it currently..  |

based on a yamaha xt engine right?
vaguely remember the nordwest in PB back in the 90's, what was gilera's other offering?
still, get that bike out the shed and wheely it down the road like it was built for!

yeah the lump is based around the xt, but with electric start and a different carb set up. There was also a rc600 which was more of dakar type affair as apposed to this which is the original supermoto!

Must drag mine out of the shed this year...maybe  A '73 Honda ST70 (6v Daxrat!) and an '88 Yamaha SRX600 (thumping big single, K&N's, Dynojetted, Predator system, forkbrace, billet rearsets, etc). Dale |
