I'm after a locking fuel filler (with key!) that fits a 50-s 60's Ford. From what I understand the same type were fitted to Mk1 & 2 Consul/Zeph/Zod, ANglias and Mk 1 Cortinas and the Classic/Capris
Anyone got one lurking in the back of the garage/shed/bathroom?

No part number, sorry. Just after a generic chrome one. I think the filler neck is about 1 3/4" diameter and it has two tangs. Looks a bit like this.

I have a mate with a classic that tends to hoard spares (and has been for 30 years) I'll ask him for you. By classic I mean a consul classic

To get a standard A40 this low, you'd have to dig a hole to put it in

Thanks SOC. Just after something useable and presentable without scene tax. I'm looking on Ebay but figured I may as well give the forum a go too

Part of things
Don't like stretched tyres, very low profile tyres & I think a car CAN be too low. Perhaps I'm odd.
