Hi,
I'm looking for a rebuild kit for twin Solex carbs for a 1980 Colt Sapporo 2ltr GSR 8 valve. Am willing to collect.

Hi, I'm in the process of swapping my twin carbs for something a little different, if all goes to plan I'll have a set of carbs that are in really good nick going spare. probably be at least another month though, just a thought if you struggle to find a rebuild kit. Also, if you're having problems with the fueling it might be worth replacing the fuel filter which is mounted next to the pump, above the tank, as they are often over looked and full of crud  |

yeh check that rear fuel filter ,the only time mine broke down was due to this being full of what looked like sand.engine ran but couldnt get the revs up.

Hiya, thanks for that. I've replaced the fuel filter now but I'm still have a hesitation when I pull away. My boyfriend's had a look at the carbs and thinks the pump diaphragms on the sides of the carbs may be split. They don't seem to be doing much, is this something anyone's come across or could it be something else?  Thank you! |
