AS above, the engine in out 98 Mondeo ST24 is dead and we are now is search of a replacemnt.. ideally under 100k, must be the MK2 version or later as its too much hassle to change the MK1 intake system over etc. As close to Bedford as poss but i am happy to collect. What have you got? Failing that, would also consider a complete runner and pull the motor myself. Cheers Lee

If you were closer I'd have popped round and helped you get it fitted, for such a tight squeeze its a pretty easy job to throw one in - while the engines out of the car it'd be a good idea to whip off the upper and lower inlet manifolds/throttle body etc and have a good session with the clutch cleaner/wet n dry Jamie

Cheers Jamie.
Funnily enough the engine thats coming is manifold-less anyway, which is handy as it allows me to fit my new IMRC!
Might give it a go with the cleaner and wet and dry...
Planning on taking it out the top rather then faffing around with the subframe etc....
If funds streched to it i would do the suspension at teh same time.. but sadly priorities....
