If anyone out there knows of any good 2nd hand parts sources for the series snipe(other than the usual grimes/rootes parts/ vintage motors spares) I'm after odds and sods to get my Humber on the road. Its failed the MOT on just washer jets! the manual pump and pipes are fine, but both brass jets are missing out of the plastic shrouds! Also after 2 door pins, and the front grille chromes I would consider buying a ratty but complete humber for the parts! up to £500 Thanks

Another Humber in the Ipswich area! The front grilles are fairly hard to find, as they all seem to go quite rusty. There is a man, that we know quite well that lives in Norwich who has a collection of spare parts, don't know what he's got but we've got to ring him and I'll get Sniper to ask him if his got anything that you need. Have you visited the Humber clubs website? www.humber.org.uk/

Yup, have tried the humber website, to no avail on most bits, i think i'll have to live with the imperfections until i get to a few shows / autojumbles!

If you're about on Saturday 15th March, why not join us at the local Humber Club pub meet at the Half Moon pub, Rushall (near Dickleburgh, just off the A140). We'll be there from 12pm until 2pm and have a chat with a few other local Humber owners and see if any can help you. Sometimes it's easier to do things face to face, as many of the Humber club members are afraid of chatrooms and the internet.

I'm debating going to that giggles, but need to sort somewhere to crash as I don't fancy the late drive back afterwards as its best part of 150 miles from me
