Last weekend I went to Newark Autojumble along with Street and Tonycocacola. I didn't pick up any car parts (good job as I'm skint!), but TCC spotted this for the bargain price of 50p... It's a stack like mine! I had a spare hour this evening so I got busy making it into a mini-me Mercedes. The aim is to get it looking like my real one... So, I stripped it down... Sent the shell to the bodyshop... And after a few tweaks to the chassis and axles, re-assembled... If only working on my real car was as easy... ;D

Love it, particuarly the bent back axel to get yer camber. Here's one I did of mine, never got round to finishing it properly, it needs some detailing. Was never really happy with the wheels. edit: I suppose i should have pasted the pic code in

Cheers guys! I couldn't sit still this evening so I thought I'd put my energies to good use! ;D
MarkBognor - what scale is that W123? If it's the same scale as mine (no idea what it's called... small matchbox size car... ) then that's amazing detail! Looks really good. I'm not one for model cars usually but when I was presented with a W115 I had to do it! ;D

Its a minichamps model, in 1:43. Half way between a matchbox car size (1:64ish) and Scalextric size (1:32).

Very nice!! They are a good laugh to do, you going to change the wheels? Thanks! If I can find some better rimz and have time I'll fit them. Somewhere I have a massive box with all the matchbox cars in it that me and Street used to play with before we moved on to real cars! ;D

matchbox cars wont have wheels that'll work - the offset and width are too much on corgi juniors. but if you have some little chinese pastic cars, they're wheels work a treat and have some dish sometimes too. i think i have some that would suit if you need mate will even paint them cream 'n all ;D
