I am looking for a new camera before the main part of the show season hits. my budget is £100-120 and ideally want a camera that will give a good quality picture and one that can do what is shown in the picture below. I don't know much about cameras so please don't baffle me with to much jargon. Thanks Bert

That's done with a Nikon D40x, so a bit out of your price range. But you can get similar results from cameras that have decent exposure times (10seconds+) and manual controls. You can get a Fuji S5500 (15s exposure) for £50 on the 'Bay, or an Olympus SP-350 (8min. exposure) for £100. I've owned both and they're superb cameras for the price.

Fuji S5500 is a good bet. Invest the rest in a good tripod.

Is the Fuji S5500 easy to use for someone that has only been using a 3.1megapixel old digital camera and don't suppose you can get them anywhere else apart from ebay? Thanks guys

I'd recommend the Fuji S5600, my mate uses it for his motorsport photography and horse racing etc and gets good results from it A couple of his pics

Went and bought a camera today its not any of the above but has a 12 month warranty. It is a Casio EX-P505 really impressed with it. Will post some pictures upnext week sometime when i get home. and the best bit it was reduced from £350 to £130 in a clearance sale.

Neat, I've never heard of that model but it seems to have a very decent spec. Good buy.

Those folding screens are excellent. Have one on my Canon S3 IS. Great for lowdown shots - you don't have to lie on the ground to see what you are taking a photo of!
