Built this hi fi rack from box section and some grilles for shelves ......... door is toughened safety glass.....
Then theres the speaker stands ..............couple of 3/4" thick steel plates as bases ,wood discs for the feet ,1/2 gall paint cans covered in vinyl ,cut out in rear of cans to take excess cable .......
pic makes stands look crooked ,but they're straight !
Then I built this TV stand using a length of 2" stainless tube slid over a heavy walled tube ,which is welded to a large 'X' frame screwed /gripfilled to the floor before the laminate went down . Ran all wiring under floor and up inside the tube to avoid the usual' birds nest' behind the TV !
BTW that 1/2 round shape above the skirting line is guttering ,papered same as wall to hide the rad pipes.
Will post more pics as I finish the rest of the room.
