the stuff you find in skips ... my mate brought me this 36v electric skateboard that he rescued from a skip, also in the same skip was 1 of those garden blower/vacuum type things with knackered bodywork but a great little engine . had hours of fun on it & only put petrol in it twice video of 1st time out >>

how does it stop ? it doesnt. its direct drive, no clutch just bump it off & go
drifting ? not yet ;D
it wasnt hard to hang the engine. its mounted off the bottom of the rear trucks so it stays parallel with the rear axle while the board is leaning through corners. building adjustment into it so that the belt can be tightened took a bit of thought . i'm going to make a tuned pipe for it to give it some bottom end grunt, other than that there's been no problems .
i'll post some more detailed pics soon

trg1984 its driving 1 rear wheel using a toothed belt, the only piece i had to buy. hope these pic's explain it better

lammy ... sprockets i had in stock already & the belt came from Teesside Power Transmissions.
the only other parts used are ... brake cable, brake lever, & a piece of tube to mount it on , all from a bmx
