Good work! I bet you get some strange looks towing the trailer with the Merc! Cant wait to see it behind the van in matching colours. On a side note, i really like the wheels on your Mercedes... ![8-)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/cool.png)

Finished off the shed today, just one more coat of horrible brown stuff to paint of, to protect the wood externaly. Painted the inside, including roof, and doors white as well, as it reflects light better, and when you have a load of spares in there, with only a single energy saving lamp, you need all the help you can get. I also "bought" a knackered bicycle frame from one of the local kids, he gave it to me, as I need bits of pipe for the trailer, so I gave him a fiver for his effort. Lastly, I spent about 2 hours cleaning up the compressor, and it looks much better now. ![](http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y19/madstuff/P1030310.jpg) ![](http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y19/madstuff/P1030318.jpg) ![](http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y19/madstuff/P1030314.jpg) ![](http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y19/madstuff/P1030319.jpg) ![](http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y19/madstuff/P1030321.jpg)

Just a thought re the shed, how about putting some battening around the 3 walls half way up or thereabouts then putting some large shelving in. Engine/box etc on floor and smaller/lighter items above?

Got that done already mate, thanks... all the offcuts and a few I skip dived elsewhere ;D (in fact, you can see some of them painted on 3 sides behind the cleaned compressor pics) I cannot throw much away, and always plan ahead, so the bits of ply have been waiting patiently, and they and the battening werepainted last night after the inside of the shed was done, so now just need to nail/screw them up on the rear and sides. Also going to nail stips of battening into the roof space for items like the spare dash, fuel pipes and paper mache parcel tray and few other light bits like body repair panels etc. that take too much space. The engine and axles etc are on the floor, and even the rear diff may get its own "shelf" above the engine and gearbox which are currently a single unit. Space utilisation gives me a buzz. Now iΒ΄ve seen people throwing cars or vans on there side to get underneath...but iΒ΄ve never seen anyone do that to a shed!!!!! ;D Looking good mate, if that compressor works as well as it looks now youΒ΄ll be doing ok. Going on what you said about the "lads" around your place that bike was probably in one piece five minutes before you "bought" it ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png) ...cut the bits you need off it quick before you get a visit from the boys in blue! ;D

Shed on it's side......? Though that was what you did to them, needed to do that to get the chassis stone chipped before the engine, gearbox , diff and suspension bits go in. IYKWIM ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png) Hope the compressor can be made to work propperly, I am sure it will. Want to build a mini-Shed for it, and plumb the pipes into the garage from outside with a couple of connections around the garage. Interesting you say that, last night the local ASBO kid came knocking at my kitchen window to ask if I "needed " anything else. Clearly trying to get onto the same gravy train his mate got the fiver for the frame from. (Frame is incidentally totally knackered and killed off. ;D Now iΒ΄ve seen people throwing cars or vans on there side to get underneath...but iΒ΄ve never seen anyone do that to a shed!!!!! ;D Looking good mate, if that compressor works as well as it looks now youΒ΄ll be doing ok. Engine and suspension , diff and axle etc should move in over the weekend. Hope the latest shelf I made tonight from cast off, skipped timber and a cut up hollow core door that was wet, makes it to carry the load that will be on it, above the engine and gearbox bits. ![](http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y19/madstuff/P1030396.jpg) ![](http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y19/madstuff/P1030398.jpg)

Did the last touches today on the shed, which I guess has run concurrently with the trailer. The trailer will get inner fitting at a later date, closer to the show and camping season. BUT.... For now, the shed is filled to the brim, and I have a load of space in the garage for more wibblepoo, maybe even a Polo Breadvan ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png) Anyway, played with the bus today, took some pics while it was out of the yard and then cleared the garage and moved the spare engine, gearbox, diff and front suspension into the shed. Now I have pretty much run out of ideas and ways to procrastinate the build of the bus, soI guess there will be progress from here onward, not as much as Oldbus's , but progress none the less. Piccie of MR. HAPPY !!![](http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y19/madstuff/P1030419.jpg) SHED LOAD(ing) ![](http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y19/madstuff/P1030424.jpg) ![](http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y19/madstuff/P1030427.jpg) Sinclair Racing Shed No:63 !!![](http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y19/madstuff/P1030429.jpg)

OK Wise guys here are a bunch of pics for those of you who read "electric" Now tell me what you think, know or recommend please. 400Volt cable exit. Has cable inside too. ![](http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y19/madstuff/P1030459.jpg) Control panel outside. ![](http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y19/madstuff/P1030460.jpg) Iside of said panel. ![](http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y19/madstuff/P1030462.jpg) I guess an emergency switch, but then the panels are all held in place with allen head screws with countersunk heads, so I would think this is not really accesable in normal day to day use, or is it ? ![](http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y19/madstuff/P1030463.jpg) In relation to motor. ![](http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y19/madstuff/P1030464.jpg) Motor spec sheet in "Electric" language. ![](http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y19/madstuff/P1030467.jpg) 3 core which feeds into the internal switch box. ![](http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y19/madstuff/P1030468.jpg) OK< so I am stooopid when it come to this stuff, tell me in simple English, what to do please. If I can make it work, ideally I would like to sparay the bus with this compressor when the time comes in two years.

hi, just read through the entire thread wow certainly alot of work there.
now looking at the compressor I hope you have 3 phase supply to your garage, unlikely I would think but the motor is 415v . You will need at least two 230v supplies and a converter to create the other phase or you need to swap to a single phase motor.

Trailer will be up for sale soon, in this case to make space for the build over winter of a new camping trailer, in the shape of a "Teardrop trailer"

hye grizzz did you ever get that compressor running? looking at that "electrical language" wiring diagram it would appear to be possible to convert the motor to single phase by the repositioning of some jumpers inside, any chance of a pic of INSIDE that black box?
