Yes, I've caught the lowrider bug too and I have had a lot of inspiration from other bike threads on here!
My dad will help me with it, as I've had know bike experience at all! I found this frame (minus the wheels, saddle and handle bars) in a skip so thought I would take it while no-one was looking! ;D
I got the other bits off a kids bike. Smaller wheels will allow the bike to go much lower and the forks can be bent without too much lengthening too. I only wanted the seat post and the handle bar mount from the rest of the bike though So here are the planes for the frame!
VVVVVVVVVVV
It looks a bit to much like a mountain bike frame at the mo and I want to go for a long and low look with a few accessories. Its not important about the pedal clearance as It is only going to be taken to a few shows on my dads Cortina's roof rack ;D and hanging on the wall in my shed! I will probably take them off to be honest. I may fit an electric motor some how later!
I started by stripping all the stuff I wouldn't be needing off, I.e. brakes, chain, handle bars, saddle and the stickers ready for painting.
Other planes are:
Pearl white paint with lots of green flake,
ape hangers, green banana seat with tall chrome
sissy bar, angle-grind the cable holders and brake mounts off and find some white-wall tires! Then just a few cool accessories
