and now a bmx update!
I had some time the other day whilst my daily was in bits (managed to put pay to the rear hub, got some xm317's on tank hubs coming). anyway I pulled the newest 20" wheeler out and decided to at long last fix the front tyre. it kept popping tubes, I knew it was obvious, but didn't have time to do it. it was the spoke nipples, so I wrapped some insulting tape round it, fixed! ;D
and then I got all three out for a play. starting with the newest-
the black venom. I brought it new in 05! now a bit played with
mobeus detangler, london bikes queen vic flatland bars (dead straight and super stiff, light too with a nice biut of room to hop over 
), ares minimal offset forks, KHE geraldo front pegs (wish I ordered two pairs!!), ares grips and brickhouse nobjobbers. runs maxxis ringworms currently at 5 bar. I will run at 90psi plus soon tho. they roll real fast at 90 
and now my mid-school
frame and fork I found behind a tree (YA RLY!). no idea what it is, has v brake mounts front and back and the worlds most obscure headset size. 1" is too small and 1 1/8" is too big! the forks are 1" and were with it, so i shimmed the frame for 1" cups.
I did run it with gyro, pegs et al, but got bored and stuck the max daddy's on. wheels were super cheap from a mate, but I had to cut the frame to fit the 14mm axles. biggest expense was the DB three piece crank. handlebars were £1 from a boot sale ;D
anyone any idea what the frame is?
and lastly my oldest. mongoose california I beleive. I've had this for over 13 years! and it was in a right state when i got it complete with a snapped seatpost inside the frame
I knocked about on it yonks ago and parked it up after I got sick of having useless brakes (mag wheels! I've got a huge stash of them tho ) that was a few long years ago.
I dragged it out the other day-
gungirl! not sure whether to clean and hang it in my shed or wang it on ebay....
