cut up a Scirocco headin for the breakers... get it on trailer and get it home.... then think about options do nothing for a few months.... ;D then cut springs by 3 coils and get the welder out... due to space and weight this is the option make a frame for bulkhead and weld a sheet in...easy peasy lemon squeeeeeeezy!!!

Nice one, glad i´m not the only idiot one building trailers out of spare bits (must start a thread me thinks) You must bring it to RR08, we´ll start our own section (lap times with trailers) ;D

If you'd used the whole shell from the screen back you could have made a little scirocco caravan ;D

it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts

That´s looking really good.
What are you plans for the wheels and is it staying unbraked or are you doing something fancy with the handbrake?

initially unbraked but might look into something for the future...
the wheels are Daewoo 6x14 steels...plan on keepin them unless i find some alloys the same as on the car....
by the time it's done...i reckon all in it would have set me back about 120-130 quid...car shell was free but includes trailer hire and petrol going to get it.....welder i had but a grinder and a drill have been burnt out in the process....so will need replacing but not costin it out to trailer cos they will get used on other stuff of course.....
took a lot of grindin disks, couple of weldin bottles, metal sheet, metal box section, a wheel from scrappy...etc....tow hook and wirin were freebies...looking forward to gettin it on the road...
need ya lights phil!!!...lol

Imagining that, as it was, with door skins on and a bulkhead = the win.

Top grammar tips! Bought = purchased. Brought = relocated Lose = misplace/opposite of win. Loose = your mum
