Whilst trawling my photobucket account for another thread i found pics of bikes that ive recently owned so thought id stick them up here ;D
I wanted to get back into BMX for a bit of fun so looked around for a Skyway TA as these were my weapon of choice many years back!-I managed to get a frame very cheap so after a few ebay bargains & a bit of hard graft i ended up with this
I used it for a while then decided to sell it on & build something better.The bloke i sold it to rebuilt it again & it ended up like this......
Seeing as i made a few quid selling it i built another one with all the components i wanted as a kid.This one had original alloy hub skyways,redline flights,dx pedals,elina seat,mushrooms etc & was my baby ;D
My brother caught the bug aswell and owned this early GT performer
Not suprisingly we had spent too much money to go thrash them about so my brother built another GT performer with newer components........
And i went all new school & built this macneil
Had a lot of fun learning to ride a small mini ramp near my brothers in Pevensey but sold the skyway on when i needed cash to fund my old mk1 Escort project.The macneil was recently sold on ebay as i needed cash to get the daily driver through the MOT
