This is an idea nicked mainly off the Hoodride forums, but it's cool nonetheless, and has got me thinking about modding other model stuff.
Toy Beetle, I've seen em available all over the place in various colours: I'd had a go at lowering this already:
So I got bored with it, stripped it down, flatted it, and found the only can of spray I could lay my hands on, painted it, then notched the chassis to allow some extreme lowering. I narrowed the front end, and you can also bend the rear axle to give you some authentic camber.
I also have this on the windowsill, but I'm trying to figure out how to slam it:
