i thought i'd better had get me a trailer so that when i go camping etc i don't need to cram everything inside the car and me and mrs imp can go in a bit more comfort, anyway a while back my mate uncle bob gave me his old box trailer as he has a new one and this one needed work.so why not make it a bit more in keeping with the imp that will tow it? after all the rotten wood had been removed (tbh most of it fell off when i kicked it ;D) how it is now,the hubs are off and i have had to lop the backboard off as it had rusted through plans are ; rebuild the back end with fresh metal, re-do the wood and fit imp rear lights. also i may need to lower it so if anyone knows how (if at all) those suspension units can be adujusted i'd be grateful, then i can mod the hubs so i can fit imp wheels ,meaning i'd only need one spare wheel not two.

i had one like that with leaf springs so i just put the axel above them & i worked a treat (a mate has still got it ) from the look of yours i would say cut the frame off the axel/bar & flip it over left to right (think you might loose the suspension though )

There is no way to adjust the ride height on those suspension units so you will need to cut them off and mount them higher up on the chassis.

Just bring the bodywork down further so the trailer looks lower.

Just bring the bodywork down further so the trailer looks lower. second that!. Just build the new bodywork around your Imp wheels and leave enough room to let the suspension do its job when fully laden. Andy, have you thought about using Imp bodywork bits to get a matching trailer?
