Oh wow that brings back some memories I had one that i'd put fur around the gear shift nice collection (shame they didn't remake them like that with the recent copys)

I had mine in about '74....was an orange one with the round gearlever and knob....is that a Mk1?? Anyway, I replaced the gearknob with one liberated from a Jag Mk2 in Delrene Motors' scrapyard (them were the days....), taped a welding rod to the cissy bar with a Jolly Roger pennant on it.....instant badass mofo. ;D

Finally some original ones!!! A friend of mine has 1 still in its original red! getting ready for a refurb though ;D The new 'remake' models look curse word with no gear leaver and the fake seat! Ryan.

These were fetching a fortune at Vanfest a couple of weekends ago.
I had a bird in my early teens who had one, and we would ride around Locks Bottom & Orpington two up (all ended when I bought a BSA Bantam and stripped it down for the woods)
Does that VW squareback have a Scooby lump in the back?
