I have had this tractor for around 2/3 years slowly doing bits and bobs to it. Unfortunately I have no pictures of it when I got it as I had no camera back then, imagine the scene though: it had a horrible aftermarket cab on it with green canvas and round wings that were all rusty and dented. There want a single panel that wasnt dented and or rusty luckily theres only 5 on the whole thing so I set about stripping it down with my uncle. off came the cab with its manky wings and stuff, that sat in the yard for ages, then we set about removing the bonnet, lights, fuel tank and I spent a good 3/4 weekends stripping the surface rust with a wire brush. then I spent another 2/3 weekends painting the whole lot with primer then another 2/3 weekends with official massey ferguson grey paint (this stuff was a bit like hammerite). this brought it to look a little like this : then came the long task of stripping all the bodywork panels, I did the majority of them by had with a wire brush, then I discovered the genius that is the wire brush attatchement for a drill . luckily we had a contractor storing his sandblaster in the yard, so in exchange for a bit of rent my uncle blagged a bit of his service so I got all the wheels done. ;D ;D a few badly sprayed panels: put some more wheels back on and tested the seat unfortunately at this point in the build not a lot got done due to my uncle being very very ill with cancer and passing away, he was only in his fifties its been around a year since then and the panels all slowly got fitted. once this was all done I started it up and gave it a wash: so I got around to fitting the lights to it and a plough light and modified an old 3 furrow conventional plough to fit queue rubbish pic where the camera broke: so I took it out ploughing for the first time in a long time. was an interesting experience as it stands today: jobs left to do: sort out the bad repair job done on the dent in the bonnet ideally respray the panels with a thicker coat of red paint sort out the wiring for the lights get fuel guage to work paint plough light

Hi, I'm sorry to read about your uncle, but I'm glad you saw the project through, it looks great actually working on the land. A mate of mine has a 1930's tractor that he uses daily - seriously cool.
A great reminder that our time is precious and not a given right. So get out there and do the things you want to!

Nice one mate.
Got one just like it (ok thats a lie its a wreck) under a shed outside. Gets used most weeks for muck carting or hauling the cattle crush around. Goes well other than the fact that is has no breaks at the moment.
Saw a few of these this morning, was at some big national classic tractor rally from Beeston Castle, Cheshire. 400+ tractors in all, plenty of 135 and 165s in all their shiney red restored goodness.
Keep up the good work.

Excellent little build,it makes a change to see something out of left field, sorry for the aweful pun. Sorry to hear about your uncle, have you named the tractor after him as a memorial?
What's the grey paint? It's very versatile as you've used it on the engine, suspension, chassis etc.
