I'm loving the white pin stripe on the trailer wheels more! Looking cool...now to get that trailer on a similar ride height eh? No can do unfortunately. Would love to slam it over some cool 10's but the box slides open so it would be major work and create a lot less space inside if it was "tubbed". I have an understanding wife but that might be pushing it!

Cool as a cucumber mate, love the tent shot too, it could quite easily be the mid Eighties there!
Good work!

Thanks Kev/Richy. I'll send you a PM. Studarude, It could even be mid seventies as the trailer tent dates from '72/3 we think

Qwerty, PM me your email address I wouldnt mind a hi res one either tbh, this car look better and better with every pic I see of it. whats next for it then?? Mail on the way trg. What's next? Well I ought to find out exactly where the diff oil that is now spread over the spare wheel tray/tow bar has come from during the weekend trip Plus something rear spring related as previously mentioned. I really need to do some bodywork before the green/gold flake makes a re-appearance. Will try and get it sorted over the next month or so. Tricky to do that kind of thing outside while juggling work & childcare!

Well, jacked the car up this evening to have a look at the diff area. Still not 100% sure where the oil was coming from as its spread about all over but its most likely the front seal. Especially after I found the cause for a light rubbing noise I could occasionally hear when the car was fully loaded and hit a bump. There's a bump stop/snubber above the front of the diff, only its position is such that instead of hitting the diff casing part of it was catching the whirling front flange Hopefully won't happen again after a little help from Stanley. I've no idea if it had been damaged from previous work on the axle but the rear most flange section is a bit bent and battered now. Doubt it will have done the bearings or seal much good either. I put some more oil in the diff and it didn't seem to need much so maybe I'd just overfilled it? I've cleaned everything up a bit so that I can see where its coming from next time. Also while under there I trial fitted these ex Kevfromwales spring assisters that came in the post today. Many thanks Tony! I'm pretty sure this is how they're supposed to be fitted so please tell me if you know! Looks like they'll add a useful bit of stiffness next time I load the car up and will only take a few minutes to fit too so the rest of the time I can run without them at a "proper" ride height

Seth, I may have a set of estate shocks with the coil-over assisters in my lock-up. I'll look over the weekend and let you know.

I've got to find them first! I may have passed them on already to a mate with a Hunter est. I'm off to the lock-up tomorrow (SkamanFrank needs a new gearbox) so if they're there I'll let you know.

Sorry guys, I checked the lock-up and I can't find the coil over assisters so I must have given them to my mate a while back.
