Hi All Ive been a lurker here for a while and ive been looking for something to get me started. Ive never been a renault man, ive had quite a few old peugeots in my time but never a renault. Anyways, thought id start by posting some pics. She has full service history and a print out from renault with about £22k in bills Its a bundle of fun, finding the light switch was a comedy 1/2 hour... Here she is, any comments, help, tips, advice, anything appreciated. I just bought a house so ill be taking it slow...

Where's the light switch then? Like these, there's a really tatty but mostly original example that's been running about this area for the past 5 years or so, I've seen it pulled over by the police twice!

I bought one at 90,000 miles, cone filter, scorpion exhaust and upped the boost to 1.2 bar and drove it until 145,000 miles until some silly bint rear ended me and wrote it off Original engine and turbo and no sign of a gasket leak or the need for any fan override switch.A very reliable motor if a little bit of an ugger! Armchair style seats and torque steer ftw!

fan overide switch.i had 1 on my maestro turbo, not a necessity but i think its common knowledge that 1 weak point on turbo engines is the head gasket,i used to hate sitting in traffic after a good thrashing waiting for the fan to cut in watchin' the temp gauge go up.i don't know what type of rad fan switch you have but my maestro had permanent 12v and a switched earth so i ran a wire from the earth side to earth with a 2 pin switch in-line,so it still worked as it should too.prevention better than cure and all that.

Nice 21 you got there, very cool car indeed. Looks mint. Engine in right way round. Is that RWD? Most of them are FWD, although they did do a 4WD version too. Try and find one

I do like them as they are something a bit unusual. I wonder how many quadra 4 wheel drives are about

Not a bad car but the seller's description is a bit naff. Most likely never heard of punctuation!
