This is my Golf, bought her just under a month ago for the lovely sum of £150. It works and has MOT and Tax till the end of this month (Although it is off the road as I don't have a drivers license yet). It was a bit tatty, a horrible shade of blue, rust in some places and other things. Interior had an odd mix of blue and cream parts, so I have bought black replacements. Here is my Car Domain page on my car, some pages not started, some have been: www.cardomain.com/ride/3008333Plans talked about in my car domain are changing. What it will end up as is still something I've not fully decided yet, story will be explained tomorrow when i get round to it. Replies in this thread and comments on my Car Domain are appreciated. I will update this thread whenever I do something with the car, or finalize my thoughts thanks.

Looks like you've got your hands full with that one, seem to be doing well so far, that GTi roof lining looks pretty mint, not the clearest of pics, though.
Excited to see where you're going with this.

What the deal is atm. I have a rear gti bumper and debadged grill i no longer want (i was pressured into getting them) I have a car with no exterior, and no interior (although the boot is full up as there is no space in the garage ) I have no plastic over my doors and my footwells are becoming flooded, my sound proof sponge is sodden. I need to get some builders plastic and sponge (what sort of sponge do i need to buy?) I have a boot full of black plastic to put where the old blue and cream stuff was once i sorted out the leak and my car is no longer wet, still need to get parcel shelf holders (black ones with carpet on them, i'll end up covering them in some cream material if things go to plan anyway), a new seatbelt holder as mine broke when stripping the interior, and obviously the main parts to the interior.... Carpet, seats, door cards (Door cards will probably be upholstered in cream suede or something at some point again if things go to plan) I need a new thermostat, ignition leads, and something for gearbox (god knows, my brother sorts that stuff out) to stop my gearstick from dropping and letting me go into reverse. Then i need to sort the bodywork out, which will then end up being painted in a pastel colour. Then small bumpers with the chrome strips will be added, and then I'll see how well my half tint hella rear lights look with the paint job, if they look suck they will be sold and keep my standard hella lights. Then sort out a mk2 polo roof rack and polish it up. Then time to source a 7 slot single lamp front grill (I have tinted crosshairs that I will see how they look, if not I will sell and use old ones and get some decent bulbs). If I cant find a 7 slot single lamp front grille, I will try to get a jetta grill and lights, or if I get godly luck... westy front end There isn't that much moeny needed to be spent on this car, the major things I'm not looking forward to is paying the insurance, paying for mot, paying for tax, and paying to get it serviced. I will update when I start work again (its kind of stopped atm due to lack of time and funds)
