Bought as standard 1 month ago to replace my unhealthy Japanese car obsession. Car was purchased minus the arches and skirts as these were still in the sealed VW dealer packets waiting to be fitted, this is due to the car being a project for the previous owner and he wanted to sell it with the confidence it had no rust!
New arches were fitted 12hrs after purchase and are a perfect fit, Coilovers, single lamp grille and a few minor cosmetic tweaks have been added. As have 5 door rear handels to delete the door locks.
I'm a huge fan of the OEM+ way of modifying and maintenence so the car is in safe hands. Ive promised myself a Mk2 Gti from when i was 16 and I'm now lucky enough to own one. Updates as and when they happen.
