Flicking through some old photo albums I found some of my old Sierra XR4x4 I modified many years ago.
I got an early Cosworth engine, rebuilt it (strengthened chain tensioner arm as they even broke then!) and converted it to 4WD back in 1994 so I guess it was probably the first of its kind.
Had modified inlet/exhaust cams and remapped EECIV management and produced around 220hp.
I fitted Escort Cosworth suspension and it was probably the best car I have ever had.
Even the aircon worked.
Sold it to someone in Scotland. I wonder if it is still in one piece?

Drove it home and took the engine straight out
