	Just thought I'd show my latest aquisition, a spare daily driver whilst my Mk1 Golf GTI "Pirelli Edition" gets a overhaul!! Anyway I paid £500 for this with 6 months T&T and a FBMWSH around a month ago in which I have covered 2500 truble free miles already!!! There are a couple of jobs that need doing, the drivebelt tensioner is squeeky like a mother when cold, and the control arms and droplinks need doing, because when I got the car both front tyres were worn on the outers, now these tyres are metric and new are about £170 each!!!! but lucky there was a brand new spare and picked up a new wheel and tyre off ebay for £30!!!!!! so will be sorting that out soon!! Now for the intresting part, I was trying to find the paint for this car from BMW gave them the paint code, and was told that the paint is a one off?? only my car has this Factory BMW colour Aegien Blue apparantly??? The reason for this is this car is an "Individual BMW" now for people that don't know Individual BMW's are custom built at the factory with the customers spec.!!! Now as far as I can tell the only difference is the colour the charcoal real wood trim and gearknob is uniqiue to my car? there is also in the service books there is a special book wth a sample of the leather saying it is hand picked leather from the Bulls of Alaska? Now if anyone can tell me any different then I would like to see, as since I have had this car all E34's I've seen have the standard T shape auto gear selector and normal wood trim, but I'm not sure about the Leather??? Anyway I think its an excellent motor and pulls really well when put in Sports mode, but its really a cruiser so I don't thrash it too much!! 	Nice motor. Y'wanna be ctting and pasting the codes in photbucket htough, my good man. used to have a facelift E34 myself, great car despite being 200k into it's life.

	That's a really nice example - and £500 you say?! What a bargain! I recently convinced my dad to get an e34 instead of his problematic Volvo 850. Found him a really tidy BMW 525TD which I really like to drive! They're fantastic cars. Really solidly build and fantastically engineered - right down to little things like the wipers slowing down when you are crawling. Great little touches! I think if it were me I'd have got some standard size wheels and tyres, those metric tyres are a fortune! But it looks like you got a bargain there too!

The TDS is even better (intercooled, more power, same mpg) but I haven't seen any of those for sale. 	Gearknob certainly doesn't look like any I've seen personally on E34's, they're normally much less round.. linky to a piccy - finished in wood/leather or plain leather, but all that shape Handbrake handle looks 'individual' too, and nice colour [standard response] Needs a tap with the stick though [/standard response]

	Yeap thats right all been the T type selector?? But it is definately original!! smae charcoal wood finish as interior trim, so pretty chuffed!!!
