dude i am up in the midlands 6 mile from birmingham in a little place called rowley regis, and a 1 mile from dudley, you are welcome to come up but be warned the yellow one is undergoing surgery, wings and sills, been stood to long, love the blue one.
the yellow ones history is brought by a guy in west bromich who then moved to london sold to a girl in liverpool and then sold to me and brought back to the midlands, paper work that is 8 inches thick which includes all mots and every mile it as done which is recorded, of all the cars i own the yellow one will be buried with me provided my 12 year old son dosen't get it, evey time he sees it he asks for it

a few years ago I shared an inca yellow one with my brother we bought it in high wycombe for 50 quid from an ex sea admiral who was stopping driving he owned it from new we bought it as a cheap alternative to a van and it got used lots but then my brother sold it with out telling me to say I was gutted is an understatement it was a minter with ultra low mileage I just hope that my brothers story of it going to an enthusiast was true , I have never forgiven him for that I suppose thats the trouble of sharing a car with someone who lives so far from you!
LOVE THEM BOTH BY THE WAY CANT WAIT TO SEE MORE!

The boys got taste! when i was about the same age (I'm 28 now) there was a guy in the maxi owners club who had an inca yellow maxi and i wanted it real bad! Its all about the colour! Ironicly it came up for sale 2 weeks after i bought my old one don't be fooled by its looks, it was one of the most solid maxis ive ever known, apart from the blue one, the 'Maxi 3' (wont find rust in that, new 'shell) The sandglow one has had a fair bit of work done on it recently and its not quite as good as the blue one, but id prefer the sandglow one myself, its mostly for the memories it holds. Jeez! Ive just realised ive been in the club for some 15 years! (well, not exactly in the club, my dad was. I was just 'there', all the time Hmmmm, 6 miles from birmingham. In a Lada. Soon.............

Really? I'm having impure thoughts about Maxi-bodied Scalextric cars now! Curse my imagination and open-mindedness!

We've got 3 arifix maxis, one unbuilt (NOT for sale), plus one that i converted to scalextric (in a bad way, but ill still get pictures up here at some point) AND a resin bodyshell based on the airfix shell available from BMC32. The airfix kits are worth silly money and, to be fair, are worth it because the are supurb. The designs came straight from the original blueprints from Austin. 'Gearbox' do a maxi too, but its naff.
That Photoshop is fantastic!!!!!! Looks rock hard. Dad don't like it, but give it time and I'm sure hell come round, tuff if he doesnt! Its saved as his desktop lol
