Hey everyone, I bought the gold nugget about 3 months ago and have since done a few changes & obtained bits.
I found some 13x7 wheels and a dual stromberg inlet manifold for the 1256 and proceeded to install. I was definately impressed with the performance increase.
I then found a complete package out of a guy's rally chevette which included the following:
2.3 slant 4 OHC rally spec with run big end bearing. Includeds twin 45mm dellortos with inlet manifold, exhaust manifold, hot cam, big valve head etc.
Another complete 2.3 spare motor
W50 Toyota 5 speed box with matched bell housing and cross member.
Engine mounts for the 2.3
Isuzu piazza diff with discs lock welded
I've got the engine at the shop about to be rebuilt although we're still figuring out what pistons to use etc as it's a full rebuild.
Other than that it's still bog standard awaiting for the motor and I'll start installing everything.
