Hi guys, I've just joined the forum. Loads of nice cars around on here! I'm loving the VW's and the funky japaneese stuff!
My own retro rides are shown below! I've had the spitfire for about 5 or 6 years and it's had some major work done on it. New engine, brakes, suspension - pretty much all upgraded. The only thing it really wants for is bodywork and a respray! I'm planning to take it out on track days when it's all sorted!
My daily driver is a G reg VW Golf CL in quite a rare blue metallic. Started off as my mums but I seem to have aquired it now. It's almost the exact opposite to the triumph - good bodywork but bad mechanicals. It really needs a new engine - the rings and big ends are shot! It's so taken for granted that the only picture I could find taken of it is behind mums beemer! When I've got some spare time I'm going to sort it out and maybe change the looks slightly. Any ideas welcome!
