That is lovely.. The dash and rear screen especially.
The carb and inlet manifold look very cack though, and the wheel trims are pretty terrible.
Some nice wheels, some twin SUs, a good engine bay tidy up, and a damned good polish.. that's all it needs.

I used to have a S1 SuperMinx, Still have a soft spot for the 50/60s rootes range, Lower it 2" all round, on a set of Lotus rims or 1600E rostyles, but not silly profile 185-60-13s and use Ford wheel nuts, rootes nuts had different seats, Bung on a H120 head and carbs, Real period car,

to be honest id not h120 it for the fact without the cam to match it wouldnt gain that much over the standard head.. Ive got a manifold with twin strombies on that came with it. the wheel trims are an aquired taste, was thinking more slotmags or chrome wellers... something of the period.. not into slamming cars to be honest, where I work the roads are poor and we got some wicked speed bumps locally am currently rebuilding the original carb and have the air filter winging its way towards me the paitn does need a good polish in places where new panels have been painted in but I am so chuffed just to have her on the drive thats a rush enough "!
