How fast does it go? What a machine, I am jealous! Thanks everybody for the kind words As for how fast it goes. It'll go quite a bit faster than you'd want to. I bottle out at 90 because it shakes too much due to knackered driveshafts. My old one saw me getting a big style bo***king from the Old Bill when they stopped me for keeping up with a Vectra V6 on the M42 well into 3 figures ;D Thankfully, they were on their way to an emergency.

The old blue beastie has been taking me to work and back for the last week or so while wifeys (Land Rover) Freeloader has been broken (you have to take the injection pump off just to change the glow plugs!) so as a treat, I'm going to give her some attention this weekend and then take her to Race Retro on Sunday. So, tomorrow I plan to (I think the term is) hit her with the "stick", fit a heater blower, fit windscreen washers and grease her king pins. I greased these very same kings pins about 3 years ago-am I lazy, should I do them more often?

Things didn't quite go to plan today, the "stick" broke so I only managed to hit her with a twig, subtle but deffo looks better. I did however grease the kingpins. I fitted a silly K&N airfilter and an old pop bottle on the breather pipe to stop it covering the (inboard) discs with oil ;D I didn't manage to fit a heater blower but have put pipes on from the heat exchangers to the car so may help a bit.
Oh, and I painted the wheels (badly) with some light blue paint I'd got knocking around.
More progress when there is some..................
