Ermine white 2 door, stock body less bumpers and a discrete reverse cowl scoop , stockish red interior, A built 3,9 Rover on Thottle bodies, Emerald ECU, Capri 3 Front clip, Toyota Supra 5spd Gearbox with home adapted bellhousing, Toyota Celica LSD axle, Porsche,Evo8 and Escort WRC front brakes, Runs Mid 12s as it turns up at the strip with 1.60 60fts on leaf springs, after a forced winter engine rebuild, I should be a wee bit quicker, and with perhaps a wee bit of sniff a mid to low 11 is feasable, you never know how fast the next reincarnation will be. And I may add, has ALLWAYS been driven to and from shows and the Drags after my first initial shakedown runs, its broken only twice in 5 years, Clutch failure, and timing chain sprocket failure, Its still black under the bonnet due to the clutch fire, which seems to have bonded itself to the paint and everything else. Hopefully this will be repainted while I have the engine out. And as has been said before, if you don't like it, ----please be gentle Ian ;D

And as has been said before, if you don't like it, ----please be gentle I would suggest if you don't like it there's probably something wrong with you. V8 MkII Cortina is pretty much one of my dream cars, I think that's absolutely spot-on

1989 Peugeot 205. You know, the one that was parked in a ditch on the campsite at RRG'17... the glass is always full. but the ratio of air to water may vary.

Welcome aboard Ian, nice to see you over here.
What sort of spec will your engine have when you get it all back home?
Like your style...V8 MKII...ticks all the box´s.
Will you have it up and running for Classic Ford?

Thanks for the Nice comments chaps, I need a bit of prodding to get up the garage at the moment, Old Bus, Engine specs are basically:- Rover 3.5P6 block, Bored and linered to 3,9 by JEs, studded top and bottom, HRC rods and ARP bolts, Omega Pistons, Supposedly TVR racecar heads, but I have my doubts, TWR European Touring Car SDi grpA mechanical cam ;D adjustable pushrods, Ported TVR split inlet manifolds, machined @ 5degs to get better flow, Jenvey Downdraft 45mm TBs, Emerald M3Dk management, triggered by a Vauxhall Vectra 60-2 wheel on the crank. Steel flywheel and Helix clutch Plans for the rebuild include Roller Rockers, 1.7 ratio rather than 1.6 to give more net valve lift, bump up the compression a bit more, do away with the dissy and go coilpacks, I am also running a external oil feed to the timing chain/dissy gear as thie chain sprocket let go last year which has left me with a bigger bill for the rebuild this winter than I wanted, including new valves, getting a new cam cam made, and a new crank, as the nose was bent when the timing gear let go. I have also made a bigger capacity sump, probably too big, 7 litres capacity but its fully baffled and trap doored so I can have a go at a few sprints and track days without oil surge problems ;D ;D
