Getting a new retro car to join the Panda and Mini  ... basically my wifes VW Passats general thirst for fuel and its unreliability have got us to get this little beast... a Polo Fox, getting it from a mates daughter who has an unhealthy obsession with VWs  My mates getting it MOTd and we hope to have it soon... I don't even like VWs, but Ill be so glad to see the back of the Passat ;D  |

Great little cars.
We did our first move in one of those over twenty years ago... cupboards on the roof, stuff hanging out of the back.....my mate wasn´t too impreseed (it was his!)
What are your plans for it?

Non... its purely for my wife to bomb about in. I think its already been dewipered at the rear and has German style plates  Might try and get some cheap alloys though... see how I like it myself first, I'm a Fiat man see ;D |

Breaks are rather interesting till you get used to em and think mine are slightly uprated being an s. I have taken to the upgread of heavy steel toe cap boot's to aid things. Mk1 golf gear will uprate onto them if you need to though.  |

Mk1 golf gear will uprate onto them if you need to though. The coupe S didn't get uprated brakes, the later cars have better calipers with bigger pads but that was the olny difference throughout the mk2s sold in the UK! |

yea ultimate there everywhere i see at least 2 everyday om my way 2 work there the best car in the world kool kolour same ms my pepper's except she 's a twist so she has red stripe  yea and abit dirtier |

Like the wheels on that one... I just cant wait till we get our, will be real interesting to compare to my Panda ;D Also, be so glad to get shot of the Passat, horrible great barge that is, no soul at all |
